Suomenlaki.com is a modern and easy-to-use legal search engine service for lawyers. The service contains legislation (in both Finnish and Swedish language), case-law, legal literature and references to legal articles. English translations of the most central legislation are also available. In addition, the service includes customized “My Briefcase” –function for collecting and arranging each user’s favorite materials for easy access.
The service also includes a “Suomen Laki” – online letter. The letter provides the service users with a daily updated list of new legislation, preparatory work and case-law for those areas of law of which the user has indicated interest in.
The front page of Suomenlaki.com is a tailor-made legal news page with expert comments and columns as well as stories of interesting people and events within legal community in Finland. These news are freely available to all visitors at the front page and can also be reviewed in a free-of-charge online newsletter (Juristikirje) delivered to its subscribers’ e-mail accounts every Wednesday.
