Antti Oksanen appointed Editor-in-Chief of Tietoviikko and MikroPC - Kauko Ollila to focus on content development

ANTTI OKSANEN APPOINTED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF TIETOVIIKKO AND MIKROPC – KAUKO OLLILA TO FOCUS ON CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

Antti Oksanen, 42, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Tietoviikko and MikroPC. He will assume his duties on 6 September 2010. For the past three years Oksanen has served as Director of Talentum’s online business in Finland. In his new post Oksanen will continue to oversee co-ordination, development and partnerships of electronic media in Finland as head of Talentum Net Hub. Oksanen will still be responsible for Talentum's co-operation with IDG, which is the world's largest technology publisher.

Tietoviikko and MikroPC Editor-in-Chief Kauko Ollila, 50, will focus as a special editor on the development of content for Tietoviikko’s and MikroPC’s various channels, print magazines, network and events.

”Antti’s main task will be to bring Tietoviikko and MikroPC content expertise and, in turn, its business to new media environments. Kauko will use his unparalleled expertise and network in the development of content," says Elina Yrjölä, Director, Magazine Business in Finland at Talentum.

The monthly-issue MikroPC magazine has a circulation of 30,122 copies. Approximately 60,000 readers visit the MikroPC.net web service every week.

Published on a bi-weekly basis, Tietoviikko has a distribution of approximately 37,000 copies. Some 70,000 readers visit the Tietoviikko.fi web service every week.
